Thank you for turning out in force Monday at our annual Memorial Day Service at the Texas State Cemetery.
Although we started with rain, it turned out to be a beautiful day…such is Texas weather.
Each of you contributed to the success of the day and we enjoyed the service greatly.
I look forward to any pictures that were taken this day.
Time Warner Cable News All Day has several different clips of us as well as a brief clip on KXAN and KVUE and the Austin American Statesman.

Our glorious President-Elect Jim Clements was outstanding during his interview on KXAN this morning. He looked so dignified and represented us well……THANK YOU SIR!!!!
Captain Jeff Wise lead our Color Guard Band of Brothers admirably and those in attendance were very impressed.
Compatriot Past President John Knox, as always, was there with his flags that make our event so colorful…..our thanks to all who arrived early and stayed late to setup and teardown the flags and stands. It made a huge difference!!!!
Thank you Chaplain Max Miller for a wonderful prayer. The Lord was with us and the skies cleared!!!! You are an inspiration to us all sir!
Finally, thank you Ron Moulton. The drums were an exceptional touch that added color and splash to our Memorial Day Service. I was very impressed and we look forward to the bright future of the Patrick Henry Chapter Fife & Drum Corps! ooRAH!!!!
…..and our thanks to our brothers in Alexander Hamilton Chapter and fellow TXSSAR Compatriots from other Chapters that joined our ranks today. You honored us with your support and participation and made a difference for which we are grateful!
Take a meritorious evening off knowing you did your best,
